What’s New

The 2016 Summer Intensive was a huge success!

The Applause Arts Foundation provides a three-week performing arts intensive to 40 high school students from all over New York City.

Summer Youth Artists participated in rigorous acting, singing and dance classes as well as conceiving, creating and starring in two of their own films!

Because of generous donations the Foundation is able to provide this program free of charge and offer scholarship grants in the fall to the young artists from the summer who wish to continue their training.

We are building partnerships with TEAK Fellowship, Oliver Scholars and the KIPP Schools and are seeking out additional partnerships that will allow us to strengthen our impact and broaden our reach.

Our Mission

The mission of the Applause Arts Foundation is to provide rigorous performing arts training, education and exposure to children from underserved communities in NYC who do not otherwise have access to such programming. The Applause Arts Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
